Where are you located?
We are based between Waterford City & South Kilkenny and service both counties daily.
We offer free in-home appointments where we bring our range of products and expertise directly to you. This allows you to view our carpets and other flooring materials in the comfort of your own home, making it easier to choose the right product for your needs.
By eliminating the need for a showroom, we are able to pass these savings on to our customers and offer a better quality of carpet and higher standard of fitting for a more competitive price.
Do you sell carpet or just fit them?
We know... our name can be a little confusing!... But yes WE SELL CARPET!
Not only carpet but luxury vinyl flooring & high-end German made laminate flooring. Many or our ranges are exclusive to us and updated regularly as we closely follow the latest trends in carpet & flooring. VIEW OUR RANGE HERE
We also stock a huge range of flooring accessories including, standard & luxury door profiles, premium underlays suitable for all applications including underfloor heating and metal stair rods available in countless designs.

How do I pay?
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your order. This can be paid on the day of your appointment or up to 7 days before your fitting date. Our team members will confirm all details for you! Deposit amount will be deducted from your total balance.
Final payment is to be made upon completion of work.

Can you take away the old carpet?
Yes we can uplift and remove you old carpet if required. Please mention to our team during your appointment if you which to add this service. Price is determined on weight (typically €20 per area)
Wet or heavily soiled carpets will be not be removed. If you choose to uplift your carpet prior to your fitting date please keep your carpet in a dry area. We remove all waste and trimmings generated from the new carpet install free of charge.
Disposal is free or charge on all domestic orders over €1200
Can I get rugs made to match my carpet?
Yes we offer a rug binding service and can make matching rugs from either you left over carpet (if any) or you can add an additional amount carpet to your order should you wish for something more bespoke, like a long runner for a hall or extra large rug.
Please allow up to 7 - 10 days for return delivery as demand usually very high.
Typical binding fee:
€20 - €50 for rugs (depending on size)
€40 - €100 for runners (depending on size)
What should I do before the fitters arrive?
Clear the room: Make sure the room is completely clear of all furniture, rugs, and other items. This will allow the installers to move freely and avoid any obstacles.
Remove old carpet: If you're replacing old carpet, you'll need to remove it before the new carpet can be installed. You can either do this yourself or use our uplift & removal service (fees apply.)
Clean the floor: The floor should be cleaned and swept thoroughly to remove any dirt, debris, or dust.
Address any subfloor issues: If your subfloor is damaged or uneven, it may need to be repaired or replaced before the new carpet can be installed.
Should I paint before my fitting date?
It is generally recommended to complete any painting or decorating before carpet fitting takes place. This ensures that any accidental spills or drips from paint or other materials will not damage the new carpet.
If you have ordered a stair runner and plan on painting the exposed edges of the staircase this must be done prior to install.
In all cases it is best practice to leave any paint 3-5 days to completely dry before fitting. Please note that we do not offer painting services, so this would need to be arranged separately.
I have my own carpet can you fit it for me?
Unfortunately, we do not fit carpets that were not purchased through our business. We take pride in our quality products and the installation process, and therefore, we only fit our own products to ensure the best results.
Do you trim doors during the installation?
We do not cut, trim or make any alterations to any existing doors. It is recommended that you use a professional carpenter, builder etc. If you are purchasing or building a new build its a good idea to instruct carpenters on site to allow clearance for carpet & underlay. During installations where door clearance is an issue we can remove the door and leave aside safely for later alteration.
Can you fit around a stair lift ?
I'm sorry, but we do not offer carpet fitting services around existing stair lifts due to potential risks to the customer or the equipment. We would recommend that the stair lift be temporarily removed before the carpet fitting and reinstalled after the job is completed. We do not offer this as a service.
Do I need stair rods for my runner?
Stair rods are not necessary for a runner, but they can be a decorative and functional addition to your staircase. Stair rods can help hold the runner in place and prevent slipping, as well as add a finishing touch to the overall look of your staircase. However, they are not required for the installation or functionality of a stair runner.
If you are looking to add the wow factor to your stairs, we carry a stunning range of metal stair rods in all colours and shapes be sure to ask our sales team to view our collection during your appointment.
Do you fit Mobile Homes / Caravans?
Unfortunately we currently do not offer carpet or vinyl fitting service for Mobile Homes / Caravans / Campers or Van Conversion at this time. But we happily offer our free quotation service and can supply any flooring and accessories required at a compativate rate.
We do offer all normal services for Log cabins. (Please not that vinyl is not a recommended option of your subfloor is tongue & groove)
How can I keep my carpet looking like new?
Regular vacuuming is the real key to keeping your carpet looking its best along with using the right stuff when it comes to stains and spills. Here are some recommendations for products we have tried and tested ourselves!
We recommend the Henry Vacuum for regular vacuuming, as it offers excellent performance at an affordable price. For everyday use, cordless vacuums from Dyson or Shark are great options, but may not be suitable for deep cleaning thicker carpets.
For stain removal, we highly recommend Dr Beckmann carpet cleaner for its effectiveness and gentle treatment of carpets. We also offer Stikatak Pro carpet stain remover, which can be purchased from us upon request.
Please note that we do not recommend using 'Rug Doctor' or similar carpet cleaning machines as they can be too intense for domestic carpets and may damage the pile if not used by a professional. Additionally, steaming products should never be used on carpets as they can cause damage and shrinkage.
Always test new cleaning products in a hidden area frst to avoid any further issues!
